Little Artists on Duty! Event with Make-A-Wish Greece

Thank you all for coming or contributing in any way you could to our philanthropic, interactive event “Little Artists On Duty!”.

We had a great time with all the children in the front garden of the nursery school “To Spiti Pou Gelaei” in Varkiza. Our favorite artist Andreas Psarakos joined us in this unique cause and together with him and all the attending children, we draw his trademark little bicycle sculptures. We had a blast and we were very touched by the genuine interest of the kids and also the thoughtfulness of their parents and teachers. They gave their own touch to the characteristic little bicycles of mr. Psarakos and at the same time gave a new meaning and value to his craft.

Inside the school grounds and also outside at the garden, everyone had the chance to enjoy an exhibition by Andreas Psarakos, curated by our own art curator Niki Kapopoulou.

The occasion for this event was Niki’s love for children combined with her passion for art, as well as her position this year as one of the Ambassadors of the “Stars 2040” team by the foundation Make-A-Wish Greece. All the proceeds from the children’s creations were donated entirely to Make-A-Wish Greece, in order to help them make even more wishes come true. Our goal was also to help the Little Artists from the nursery school, to understand the importance of charity work and at the same time entertain them, through painting and handmade crafts.

We’re very thankful for Make-A-Wish Greece and for our part to the fulfillment of one precious wish. Sweet Vladimiros wanted to go to Paris and together we made it happen! You can learn more about him here.
